Our carbonate business began in Linyi in 2003. The current company was established in 2015, when we also built our Tancheng production base.

Company and production base
Our current company, Lixing Advanced Material, was established in 2015 in the chemical industrial park of the Tancheng Economic Development Zone in Linyi. The 120,000 m² production base uses DCS automation to support carbonate manufacturing.

Development and recognition
We hold China’s national High and New Technology Enterprise designation. Our recognitions also include Shandong’s Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative SME designation, Shandong Gazelle Enterprise, and Linyi Intelligent Manufacturing Enterprise. We were selected for Linyi’s phased development programme for 50 high-quality industrial enterprises and recognised as an industrial enterprise R&D centre under the “One Enterprise, One Technology” programme.

Lixing research centre
Ongoing R&D, applied in production
Lixing specialises in fine chemicals. Years of investment in R&D have helped us develop core technologies spanning raw-material conversion, continuous production and energy use.
These include refining technology for the continuous production of battery-grade carbonates, and the use of low-carbon, high-purity electrolyte production reactors in synthesis reactions.
We apply these technologies in production, drawing on our operating experience and R&D investment to achieve high raw-material conversion, consistent quality and low energy consumption.

University collaboration
Industry–university research base
We have established an industry–university research base and a joint laboratory with Tianjin University of Science and Technology. Its professors provide regular training, and the collaboration brings technical talent into the company.
MANUFACTURING
Manufacturing and quality management
Our Tancheng base combines DCS process control with certified management systems.
Process control
We use automated DCS control and safety interlocks in our main reaction processes. The system collects data, monitors processes and records parameters, combining automatic adjustments and alarms with safety interlocks. The production base has a blast-resistant DCS control room to support plant operations.

Developing a VMI supply chain for lithium- and sodium-ion battery electrolyte solvents
- VMI system
- Lixing Advanced Material is developing a vendor-managed inventory (VMI) supply chain for lithium- and sodium-ion battery electrolyte solvents.
- Overseas development
- In 2023, we began preparations to establish branches in Europe and the United States and develop warehousing centres in both regions, while strengthening our supply network for lithium- and sodium-ion battery materials.
- Industrial integration
- To meet demand in China and overseas, we are expanding project capacity and developing our internal industrial chain. We are also planning a circular-economy industrial park for new-energy battery materials to build a production base for lithium- and sodium-ion battery electrolyte solvents.
